Bucks back to normal, fall in Boston

March 1, 2012 By Bill Scott

Rajon Rondo had collected his 3rd triple/double of the season, 15 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists to lead the Boston Celtics to a 102-96 win over the Milwaukee Bucks in Boston.

Kevin Garnett had 25 points and 10 rebounds for the Celtics, including some clutch free throws down the stretch to hold off a late Bucks rally.  The victory left Boston tied with the New York Knicks for the last two playoff spots in the Eastern Conference.

Ersan Ilyasova had 25 points and 10 rebounds and Drew Gooden added 23 points for the Bucks, who are in 9th place in the Eastern Conference playoff chase.

The Bucks got to within 2-points on Ilyasova’s put-back layup, but Garnett sank four free throws in the final 15 seconds to clinch the win for Boston.
