Golden Eagles open play in Big East Tourney

The Marquette Golden Eagles received a double bye into the quarterfinals of the Big East mens basketball tournament tonight. 

Louisville knocked off Seton Hall 61-55 to advance to the quarterfinals and a meeting tonight against the Golden Eagles (6pm – ESPN).

Marquette (25-6, 14-4 Big East) defeated Louisville on Jan. 16, 74-63 at the Bradley Center.  The Golden Eagles overcame an 18-2 deficit at the start to finish off the Cardinals.
