Green Bay Phoenix advances to second round of NCAA’s

The UW-Green Bay Phoenix women won their NCAA Tournament opener against Iowa State on the Cyclones home floor in Ames, Iowa.

Green Bay forced 19 first half Cyclone turnovers and hit 9 of 18 from three-point range in the first half to pull off a 71-57 win. 

The Phoenix advance to take on 2nd seeded Kentucky on Monday night in Ames.
