Marquette ousted from the NCAA Tournament by Florida

The Marquette Golden Eagles saw their season come to an end Thursday night as they were halted by Florida 68-58.  For Marquette, it was their 2nd straight Sweet 16 exit in the NCAA Tournament.

Early foul trouble put key players on the bench for Marquette and they never found their rhythm from there.  The Golden Eagles shot just 31% from the field for the game.  Seniors Jae Crowder and Darius Johnson-Odom provided half the scoring in their final game, Crowder with 15 while D-J-O added 14…

Marquette’s season comes to an end with a 27-8 record.  Florida will take on Louisville in the Elite 8 on Saturday.
