Pot trio in court

March 13, 2012 By WRN Contributor

Three men charged with possessing marijuana as part of an Antigo drug ring made their first court appearances Monday. A judge ordered Joe Adams, Tony Crabb and Chris Nicholson to be formally booked on the charge but released all three on a $1,000 signature bond. The judge also accepted not guilty pleas from the three, including Crabb, who did not physically appear in court but was represented by his attorney. Court documents accuse the three of buying the drug from Scot Peterson over the past few years. Their cases are set for a status conference next month, which will give attorneys on both sides a chance to consider their next steps. Four others are also charged with possessing marijuana. They will make their initial court appearance on March 30th.
