Republican Presidential hopeful Rick Santorum is focusing on Wisconsin, spending several days across the state. During a stop in Fond du Lac Sunday, Santorum said something has to be done about high oil prices.
Santorum said, unlike the President, he would allow more drilling: “We’re going to open up deep water. We’re going to open up off shore.”

Santorum is fresh off a victory in the Louisiana Primary, but still trails Mitt Romney in polling. The former Pennsylvania senator kept hammering away, drawing connections to Obama’s health care reform and Romney’s policies as governor of Massachusetts. Santorum claimed Romney “authored the blueprint for Obamacare.”
During a Racine County stop, Santorum called Romney the “worst Republican in the country to put up against Barack Obama.”

Santorum continues his swing through the state Tuesday in Beaver Dam and Janesville. Romney will be in Milwaukee on Saturday. Ron Paul will be in Madison on Thursday. Newt Gingrich will visit Wisconsin but has yet to announce details.
The candidates are targeting the Badger State ahead of the April 3 Presidential Primary.
