The PGA Tour tees it up for one final tournament before next week’s Masters. The Shell Houston Open begins Thursday in Humble Texas. Phil Mickelson is the defending champion.
Steve Sticker is the lone Wisconsin golfer in the field. This will be Stricker’s fifth event this season having last played in the WGC-Cadillac Championship at Doral March 8th through 11th. In his 4-tournaments in 2012, Stricker has made the cut 4-times with a trio of top-10 finishes and win at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions in January. He is slated for an 8:00 AM tee-time Thursday morning.
Mark Wilson will also be in the Masters Field this year. In 10-events this season, Wilson has made 8-cuts with a win in the Humana Challenge in January. Wilson currently is 4th place in this years Fed Ex Cup standings.
