Two OWIs in one weekend

March 13, 2012 By WRN Contributor

Police arrested a Tomahawk woman twice for impaired driving in as many days this weekend. Merrill police arrested 51-year-old Tammi Morren on Friday when she showed up to visit someone in the county jail, appeared disoriented and got lost in the jail lobby.  She was cited for operating while intoxicated and released.

Then on Saturday morning, a friend brought Morren to the jail parking lot to pick up her car.  She got in and drove off but police noticed her driving erratically on Highway 51 and pulled her over. As she was pulling over, Morren nearly hit the car of the friend who had given a ride to her vehicle.

Morren was booked into jail and released the next day.
