Warhawks playing for 3rd National hoops title today

The UW-Whitewater Warhawks are playing for their 3rd NCAA Division 3 Men’s Basketball Title today against Cabrini College in Salem, Virginia (6pmCT).

The Warhawks (28-4) beat Massachusetts Institute of Technology 71-56 in Friday night’s semifinals.  Chris Davis scored 30 points, 21 in the second half to lead Whitewater.

The Warhawks previously won National Titles in 1984 and 1989.

Cabrini College (31-1) defeated Illinois-Wesleyan 81-78 in the other semifinal.
