Whitewater captures 3rd NCAA hoops title

UW-Whitewater captured its third NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship, coming from behind in the second half to beat Cabrini College 63-60.

The Warhawks were 18 points down in the second half before rallying for their third NCAA title and first since 1989.

Chris Davis led Whitewater with 12 points, after scoring 30 in the semifinals against MIT the night before.
