Bucks win, draw closer to Knicks

April 3, 2012 By Bill Scott

The Milwaukee Bucks pulled to within 2-games of the idle New York Knicks by knocking off the Washington Wizards 112-98.

Brandon Jennings scored 17 of his 19 points in the third quarter to lead the charge.

Monta Ellis and Mike Dunleavy added 17 each as the Bucks shot 52% from the field and out-rebounded the Wizards 48-35.

The Bucks also got a big night from 6’10 reserve Ekpe Udoh.  Udoh had his best game since coming to the Bucks in a trade with Golden State.  He scored 15 points and added 8 rebounds and a career high 5 assists in 21 minutes.

With 13-games left, the Bucks return to Milwaukee to begin a 5-game homestand.  They’ll host Cleveland on Wednesday, followed by Charlotte on Friday and Portland on Saturday.

The Bucks also get Oklahoma City and the New York Knicks on the back-end of the homestand.
