Budmayr continues his comeback battle

consensus on the nerve issues that continue to hamper the return of quarterback Jon Budmayr.

Budmayr missed all of last season with arm issues and he isn’t expected to do much this spring and it’s still unclear as to whether Budmayr will be able to play this coming season.

Budmayr was in good spirits at spring practice yesterday, watching a portion of the Badgers workout.

If Budmayr can’t play this season, he hopes to return in 2013.  Budmayr could possibly still petition the NCAA for a sixth year of eligibility after the 2013 season as well.
