Brewers fall to Diamondbacks

May 28, 2012 By Bill Scott

The Milwaukee Brewers suffered a 4-3 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks on Sunday in Phoenix and in doing so, dropped their 4th straight series.

It also marked the first home series win for Arizona since their season opening sweep over the San Francisco.

Jose Veras took the loss in relief, surrendering RBI singles to Ryan Roberts and Henry Blanco.

Ron Roenicke was short another player, placing first baseman Travis Ishikawa (oblique strain) on the disabled list.  Catcher George Kottaras had to leave the game with a hamstring cramp, and reliever Kameron Loe wasn’t available because of elbow soreness.
