Houston Sweeps Crew

May 18, 2012 By Bill Scott

The Astros blanked the Brewers 4-0 on Thursday night.  Milwaukee’s bats went cold again as they mustered just 8 hits on the night.  JA Happ picked up the win.  Shaun Marcum was the hard luck loser, giving up all four of the game’s runs in the 4th inning. Jed Lowrie’s two run homer was the big blow there. Milwaukee drops to 16-22 on the season. The Brewers welcome the Minnesota Twins to Miller Park for a weekend interleague series tonight.  Marco Estrada will square off against Scott Diamond in the series opener tonight.
