May 7, 2012 By Bill Scott

Former Green Bay Packers quarterback Don Majkowski has joined a lawsuit involving more than 100 former NFL players that claims the NFL did not properly protect them from concussions.

Majkowski played six seasons and 68 games with the Packers from 1987 to 1992.  He also played two seasons with the Indianapolis Colts and two with the Detroit Lions.

Majkowski joins several former Packers that are also plaintiffs in the lawsuits.  (Leroy Butler, Mark Chmura, Santana Dotson, MacArthur Lane, Tootie Robbins, Dorsey Levins and Tiger Greene).

The number of players that have filed concussion-related lawsuits is nearing 1,800.
