Panthers 27-hit attack sets conference mark

UW-Milwaukee had 27 hits in Thursday’s 19-2 win over Butler in the Horizon League baseball tournament. 

Junior leftfielder Jonathan Capasso went 6 for 6 which tied the tournament and school records for hits in a game. 

Centerfielder Luke Meeteer went 5 for 6 for the Panthers (27-26).

The Panthers are 1-1 in the double elimination event.  They’ll play again today in Chicago.
