Reward money grows in arrow case

May 30, 2012 By WRN Contributor

Total reward money for information that will point Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s officials towards the person who shot a seven-year-old Campbellsport girl with an arrow, now stands at $10,000. Sheriff Mick Fink says that’s thanks to the generosity of individuals and groups from West Allis to Clintonville and in-between. “It really shows there’s a good side to humor nature … To the person who shot the arrow … shame on you.”

Aryanna Schneeberg was hit in the back on May 20th and the arrow was surgically removed at Children’s Hospital in Wauwatosa. She’s back home now. The Sheriff says he’d like to see the person who shot the arrow, accidentally or otherwise, come forward and put the incident to rest.

Lieutenant Cameron McGee says any information could be important. “We’re trying to encourage anyone with any information at all, no matter how small…”

Sheriff Fink says he’s hoping the huge reward will lead to the information they need to close the case. “This is not a TV crime show. This will take a while.” He’s asking people with tips to call the Department’s Crime Alert Tip Line (at 920-906-4777).
