Former President Bill Clinton will join Democratic recall challenger for governor Tom Barrett at a rally this morning in Milwaukee’s Pere Marquette Park.
In a memo to supporters Clinton said, “Folks in Wisconsin have been on the front lines of fighting for working, middle-class families across America for more than 16 months.”
The former president’s appearance is to encourage people to vote early, as today is the final day for voting in person at county clerk’s offices across the state.
Governor Scott Walker will be in Sussex also along side a national figure, Governor Nikki Haley of South Carolina. She is the latest Republican governor to come in support of Walker. Bobby Jindal of Louisiana and Chris Christie of New Jersey recently visited the Badger State.
