Bucks hold first pre-draft workout

June 4, 2012 By Bill Scott

The Milwaukee Bucks held the first of several NBA pre-draft workouts at their

Jordan Taylor

team training center in St. Francis.

Sunday’s session was loaded with guards and included Jordan Taylor (Wisconsin) and Darius Johnson-Odom (Marquette).

Also competing during the workouts on Sunday were:

6’7 SR Guard Kris Joseph of Syracuse
6’6 SR Guard Chris Johnson of Dayton
6’5 FR Guard Tony Wroten of Washington
6’4 JR Guard Jared Cunningham of Oregon State

The Bucks have the 12th pick in the first round and the 42nd overall selection in round 2.

Johnson-Odom and Taylor will both take part in the Chicago pre-draft camp this weekend.  Odom was originally on the list of 60 players invited, while Taylor wasn’t.  But a spot opened up for Taylor, which gets him in front of NBA GM’s and coaches who will be evaluating the players.

The Draft will be held June 28th.
