Marcum’s arm still on the mend

June 26, 2012 By Bill Scott

Shaun Marcum did some throwing on Monday and revealed that his right elbow is still sore.  That means more rest for Marcum and for the Milwaukee Brewers to continue with Plan B.

Marcum has missed his last two starts and could be sidelined for some time.  He’s currently on the teams 15-day disabled list.

Marco Estrada is ready to return to the Brewers active roster.  He’ll start for the Brewers against the Cincinnati Reds tonight.

Marcum is 5-3 with a 3.39 era in 13 starts for the Brewers this season.  Estrada returns to action with a 0-3 record and a 4.50 era.
