Morgan shoves Reds fan!

June 28, 2012 By Bill Scott

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Nyjer Morgan, after getting tangled up with

Nyjer Morgan

a Reds fan while chasing a foul ball in the 9th inning, shoved the fan.

Cincinnati’s Devin Mesoraco hit a fly ball down the right-field line that drifted just over the concrete wall and Morgan was trying to make the catch.

As Morgan went to catch the ball, a Reds fan in the front row tried to do the same and got tangled up with Morgan.

Morgan then shoved the fan as he backed away and the two exchanged a few words before umpire Marty Foster got Morgan back toward the field.

Manager Ron Roenicke daid the incident was no big deal.  He said the home fans are supposed to do that for their team.
