Uthoff going to Iowa anyway

June 7, 2012 By Bill Scott

Former Wisconsin player Jarrod Uthoff said he’s transferring to Iowa even though Badgers coach Bo Ryan restricted the Hawkeyes from contacting him.

Uthoff will have to play his own way next year at Iowa and will also have to sit out the 2012-’13 season because of NCAA transfer rules.

Uthoff is from Cedar Rapids, Iowa and red-shirted during his first year in Madison.
