Alvarez Comments On Penn State (AUDIO)

July 23, 2012 By Bill Scott

The NCAA is set to announce what some have called unprecedented sanctions against Penn State today in the aftermath of the Jerry Sandusky scandal.  Badger athletic director Barry Alvarez doesn’t think the so called “death penalty” for the football program should be an option.   Reports says that the sanctions could include a multi-year bowl ban and loss of scholarships.  The statue of Joe Paterno was taken down outside of Beaver Stadium on Sunday.
