Brush fire turns up body in Kenosha

July 9, 2012 By WRN Contributor

While putting out a brush fire at a Kenosha park Monday morning, firefighters found the body of a woman. The fire in Nedweski Park was reported before 10:30 Monday morning. The body was found within the burned area.

A brief news release from the Kenosha Police Department says the woman’s age and identity are still unknown. An autopsy will be performed in Milwaukee. It remains unclear if the woman died in the fire.
