Bucks open Summer League with a win

July 17, 2012 By Bill Scott

The Milwaukee Bucks tipped-off Summer League on a high note Monday night in Vegas.  Milwaukee picked up a 76-68 victory over the New Orleans Hornets.

The Bucks were led by 2nd round draft pick Deron Lamb who scored 20-points while 2011 top pick Tobias Harris added 19.  Jarrid Famous gave Milwaukee a double-double with 13-points and 11-rebounds.  Former Badger and Appleton native Brian Butch had 4-points in 11-minutes of action.  The Hornets Lance Thomas led all scorers with 22.

The Bucks are back on the floor Tuesday with an afternoon game against the Washington Wizards.
