Springer signs ECHL deal with Las Vegas

Former University of Wisconsin Badger defenseman Eric Springer (Wrightstown, Wis.) will continue his hockey career as a member of the Las Vegas Wranglers of the ECHL.

Springer joins the Wranglers after a Badger playing career that included two goals and 10 points in 84 games on the blue line. 

The 5-9, 195 lb Springer was a three-time Academic All-WCHA and Academic All-Big Ten selection as a consumer affairs major.
