Bucks miss chance at 3-0 start

Zach Randolph had 18 points and 13 rebounds and Memphis big man Marc Gasol had 14 points and 9 rebounds  to lead the Grizzlies to a 108-90 win over the Milwaukee Bucks at the BMO Harris Bradley Center on Wednesday night.

The Bucks (2-1) trailed by 22-points in the 3rd quarter and closed the gap to 7 but couldn’t climb all the way back.

Memphis shot 53% from the field, while the Bucks converted just 38.5%.

Brandon Jennings had 19 points to lead the Bucks, but hit just 6 of 20 from the field.  Monta Ellis also struggled from the field, finishing with 15 points on 5 of 18 shooting.

Memphis also got 18 points (9 of 13) from Marreese Speights and 17 points from Rudy Gay.

Bucks 1st round draft pick John Henson returned to the lineup for the first time since spraining his left knee during a preseason game in Chicago.  Henson had 3 points, 3 rebounds and 2 blocked shots in 17 minutes.

The Bucks return to action Friday night in Washington D.C. against the Wizards.
