Cobb will stay on return units

Regardless of just how much Randall Cobb’s role in the Green Bay Packers

offense grows, don’t expect the Green Bay Packers to be relieving him of any return duties.

Cobb entered Monday night ranked 7th in the NFL in punt return average at 11.1 yards and 10th in kickoff return average at 27.8 yards.

Packers’ Special Teams coach Shawn Slocum said Cobb’s ability is too important to the field position battle each week for him not to be on the return unit..
