November 18, 2012 By Bill Scott

Deonte Burton scored a three-point basket with 2 seconds remaining to give the Nevada Wolf Pack a 71-69 win over the Green Bay Phoenix on Saturday night at the World Vision Classic.

Just seconds earlier, Alec Brown hit a 3-pointer for Green Bay to give the Phoenix a 69-68 lead with 11 seconds to play, but it was Burton that had the 3-pointer that stole the show.

Brennan Cougill and Kam Cerroni had 16 points each in the loss for Green Bay.

The Phoenix dropped to 1-1 in the World Vision Classic.  They beat Southern Utah 66-54 in the opener on Friday night.  Alex Brown & Brennan Cougill had 17 each in the Green Bay victory.
