Oshkosh looks forward to exhibition against Wisconsin tonight!

November 7, 2012 By Bill Scott

The Wisconsin Badger men’s basketball team will host Div. 3 UW-Oshkosh

Kohl Center Court

tonight in an exhibition at the Kohl Center.

The Titans aren’t expected to keep things too close, but that doesn’t mean 1st year head coach Pat Juckem (pronounced Yuck-em) isn’t excited about the opportunity to play the Badgers.

Juckem  is making his coaching debut for the Titans tonight.  One might conclude that this is a tough way for Juckem to get his start.  But Juckem is looking forward to the opportunity.  It’s a chance for his players to play on the big stage at the Kohl Center.

Juckem said they look at this opportunity as a win regardless of the outcome.

It’s Bo Ryan, who won four National Titles at Division III Platteville, that is responsible for leading the charge which has allowed division 1 schools to play division 3 schools in exhibitions.  It’s a warmup for the Badgers, but it’s a game that the Oshkosh Titans won’t forget for the rest of their lives.
