Oshkosh takes on Bethel in 2nd round of NCAA Tournament

The UW Oshkosh Titans Football team will take the field once again Saturday afternoon as they host Bethel University (Minnesota) in the second round of the D3 Football Playoffs.  Oshkosh is ranked #5 while Bethel checks in at #21 in the D3Football.com poll.

Oshkosh knocked off St. Scholastica 55-10 in the first round last weekend in the school’s first ever playoff game.  It wasn’t an easy go for the Titans, they got down 10-0 early before rattling off 55-unanswered to improve to 11-0 on the season.  Titans Head Coach Pat Cerroni talks about the rough start…

The game is scheduled for a noon kickoff at J.J Keller Field at Titan Stadium in Oshkosh.  The winner will take on the winner of Linfield College (Ore.) and North Central College (Ill) December 1st.
