Veras on his way out of Milwaukee

November 1, 2012 By Bill Scott

According to a MLB.com report, the Milwaukee Brewers have informed reliever Jose Veras of the teams intention to outright Veras from the 40-man roster.  He has to clear waivers for that move to become official.

Veras was 5-4 with a 3.63 ERA in 72 appearances last season.  He struck out 79 hitters in 67 innings.

Veras’ agent said that Veras would elect free agency if he clears waivers.
