Weston homicide susepct will stand trial

November 21, 2012 By WRN Contributor

A Minnesota man man charged in the murder his girlfriend in Weston will go to trial. Richi Vue of St. Paul is accused of shooting Lee Xiong in her bedroom October 13th. The shooting took place follwing an alleged argument over a drug deal earlier in the day.

The homicide occurred at Xiong’s apartment, where she lived with her siblings and mother. Everest Metro Police said a 14 year-old witness made the initial call. The 21 year-old Vue now says the gun fired by accident. Vue was captured by deputies in Clark County, about 6 hours after the call first went out that shots had been fired.

Vue remains jailed, unable to post a $1 million cash bond. He’s due back in court to enter a plea January 3rd.
