Badgers bounce back with win over Cal

December 3, 2012 By Bill Scott

The Badger Men’s Basketball Team returned to the win column Sunday as they blew-out California 81-56 in Madison.  Wisconsin lost their last time out at the Kohl Center 60-54 to Virginia.

Ben Brust had 22-points to lead the Badgers who opened the game with a 19-6 run in the first 9-minutes.  Jared Berggren added 18-points and 8-rebounds.  Freshman Sam Dekker added 12-points in 24-minutes off the bench.  Cal’s Allen Crabbe had a game high 25 in the Golden Bear’s first loss of the season.

Wisconsin is now 5-3 on the season.  They will be back on the floor Tuesday night when Omaha visits the Kohl Center.
