While the Green Bay Packers were busy celebrating their NFC North Division
title, kicker Mason Crosby was trying to shake off another disappointing day.
Crosby’s kicking slump continued, with misses from 43 in the second quarter and 42 yards in the fourth quarter.
If the Packers are entertaining a kicking change, they’re not letting on. After the game, Mike McCarthy sounded like a broken record, delivering the same message that he’s delivered before.

In between misses, McCarthy decided to go for it on fourth down rather than try a field goal. The Packers converted the 4th down play and they later scored on the drive to make it 21-7 Green Bay.
Crosby is now 17 for 29 this season, converting just over 58% of his field goal tries.

Will the Packers make a change? If they do, it’ll likely be moving Crosby to kickoffs and signing a kicker to take over on field goals. We’ll see what happens this week, if anything!
