With James Starks suffering a knee injury in last week’s win over the Minnesota
Vikings, the Green Bay Packers are bringing back veteran Ryan Grant to help out.
The story was first broke by ESPNMilwaukee.com’s Jason Wilde through a text message with Grant.
Grant played in one game for Washington this season, carrying one time for 5 yards against Atlanta in Week 5.
He played in 63 games with the Packers over 5 seasons, rushing for 4,016 yards, averaging 4.3 yards per carry and scored 25 touchdowns.
Starks rushed for 66 yards on 15 carries Sunday, including a 22-yard touchdown run.
The Packers decided not to resign Grant in the offseason, electing instead to go with Cedric Benson.
