Green Bay Phoenix women roll over ND State

December 19, 2012 By Bill Scott

Playing back at home for the first time since Nov. 30th against Indianapolis, the Green Bay women’s basketball team (7-2) knocked off North Dakota State (3-8) 72-37 at the Kress Events Center.  The Phoenix had 26 assists and 28 field goals to post its largest margin of victory this season.

Green Bay shot a season-high 56% from the floor and outscored the Bison 46-16 in the paint in the victory.  Senior Sarah Eichler had 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the way for Green Bay.

The Phoenix will remain at home to battle rival Wisconsin on Saturday at 7pm.  The contest is nearing what would be the fourth sellout in the Kress Center’s five-year history.
