Gun show sees record attendance

January 28, 2013 By WRN Contributor

Attendance and prices are both up at gun shows, including here in Wisconsin. A gun show this weekend at Cedar Creek near Wausau had nearly three times as many people show up compared to last year’s event. Attendance for Saturday was estimated to be over 2,000 people.

Sporting rifles that usually sell for under $900 dollars were also going for much higher, as customers fear President Obama will ban them soon. Some of these automatic rifles were going for over $2,000 each. Many suppliers of these rifles say they are having trouble keeping up with demand.
