The Wisconsin Badger men’s hockey team (6-7-5, 4-5-5 WCHA) completes its season
series with Minnesota State (14-6-2, 8-6-0 WCHA) with a trip this weekend to Verizon Wireless Center for games tonight and Saturday.
The Mavericks picked up a pair of 4-2 wins over the Badgers at the Kohl Center back in November, but the Badgers weren’t anywhere close to full strength for that one.
The Badgers are riding an eight game unbeaten streak (5-0-3), its longest since the 2006 NCAA Championship season.
The two teams are meeting for the 45th and 46th times in the all-time series. Wisconsin is 6-11-3 all-time in Mankato and has never swept MSU on the road.
