In men’s Horizon League basketball action on Thursday night, the Green Bay Phoenix put four players in double figures and held Youngstown State to 30% shooting from the field in a 67-58 win over the Penguins at the Resch Center last night.
Green Bay freshman Jordan Fouse led the way with 12-points and 9-rebounds for Green Bay.
In Milwaukee, Austin Arians scored a career-high 19 points off the bench, helping the Panthers beat Cleveland State 69-57 on Thursday night. It’s the first Horizon League win for the Panthers, who hadn’t won a game against a division 1 opponent since Dec. 7th.
In women’s Horizon League play, Green Bay trailed by as many as 11 points in the 2nd half and came from behind to beat Cleveland State 52-49.
In Milwaukee, the Panthers fell to Youngstown State 67-50.
