Rapids man sentenced for child porn

January 9, 2013 By WRN Contributor

A Wisconsin Rapids man will spend the next three years in prison after being convicted of possessing child pornography. Michael J. Kuhn, 33, was sentenced on two counts of child pornography.

Wood County Judge Greg Potter took another eight counts into consideration as he passed the sentence.  Kuhn must also serve three years of extended supervision when he gets out. He’ll be required to have no contact with places that serve or sell alcohol, and he can’t live within two blocks of a school, day care center, or park.

In 2011, a Marshfield detective found Kuhn’s computer had downloaded a large number of pornographic images. Some of the images involved children between 6 and 13 years old.
