Stricker finishes runner-up in Hawaii

January 9, 2013 By Bill Scott

Dustin Johnson shot a final round 5-under par 68 to claim a 4-shot win over Madison’s Steve Stricker in the PGA‘s Tournament of Champions at Kapalua, Hawaii.

Stricker trailed by just 1-shot through 13-holes before Johnson chipped in from 50 feet in front of the green to put himself back up by 3-shots.

Johnson finished at 16-under 203.

Stricker shot a final round 69, despite feeling a shooting pain down his left side.  Stricker won the Tournament of Champions last year.
