Waupaca County crash kills two teens

January 26, 2013 By WRN Contributor

Two teenagers are dead as the result of a two vehicle accident involving a school bus in the Waupaca County Town of Mukwa Friday night.

According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, the bus was heading back to New London Middle School following a ski trip to Nordic Mountain. The bus was heading north on Bean City Road around 10 p.m., when an oncoming car veered into the bus’s lane around a curve, and smashed into the bus. The two 17-year olds inside the car were killed, while 3 students on the bus, and the driver, suffered minor injuries.

Names of the victims are not expected to be released until Sunday.
