WIAA going to four divisions in soccer tournament

January 31, 2013 By Bill Scott

The WIAA State soccer tournaments will get a new look this fall.  The WIAA Board of Control unanimously approved a four-division format for the boys and girls tournaments in Milwaukee., replacing the three-division format that had been in place since the 2002-03 school year.

The new format features a four-team field in each division, eliminating the eight-team field in division 1, which started with four quarterfinal games.
