Women charged with heroin dealing

January 11, 2013 By WRN Contributor

Three women have been indicted on heroin trafficking charges in Lincoln County. Sheriff’s deputies confirmed Thursday they received the federal indictments against 32-year-old Leanna Marie Wells of Merrill, 47-year-old Jennifer Lynn Roper of Merrill, and former Merrill resident 32-year-old Rose Helen Kirmsse of Black Creek.

The women were arrested December 4th by Merrill Police, Lincoln County deputies, and Outagamie County deputies. All three were delivered to U.S. Marshals in Madison the next day.

The three women are facing a variety of heroin possession and distribution related charges, and each could spend up to 20 years in prison if convicted. Fines could go as high as a million dollars for each of them.
