Badgers face rival Gophers this weekend

With 6-games left in the regular season, the Wisconsin Badgers still have considerable

say in where they finish in the WCHA’s regular season race.

Wisconsin starts the weekend in fifth place in the WCHA, tied with Denver (25 pts).  They’ll face the Gophers tonight at the Kohl Center, then face them on neutral ice, in the Hockey City Classic at Solder Field on Sunday afternoon.

The Badgers will also face Nebraska Omaha in Nebraska next weekend, then close out with a pair of games against league-leading St. Cloud State.

Wisconsin last played in an outdoor game at Camp Randall Stadium, beating Michigan 3-2 a couple of years ago.
