Brewers’ Gamel “probably” out for the season

February 18, 2013 By Bill Scott

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel is reporting that Milwaukee Brewers infielder Mat Gamel is “probably” out for the season after aggravating his surgically repaired right knee in the Brewers’ first full-squad workout.

Manager Ron Roenicke delivered the news to reporters during his daily media session.

Roenicke said they had an MRI on Gamel and it didn’t come back very good.
