Cold spell does in Bucks again!

February 6, 2013 By Bill Scott

The Milwaukee Bucks blew a 17-point first half lead and fell to the Denver Nuggets 112-104 in Denver on Tuesday night.  It’s the 7th straight win for the Nuggets.

The Bucks (25-22) wasted a career best performance from center Sam Dalembert who scored 35 points, including 21 in the first half.  Dalembert hit 9 of 10 from the field in the first half and 17 of 21 for the game.

The Bucks hit 31 of their 51 field goal opportunities in the first half (61%), but as has been the norm, cooled off in the second half.  They finished 48% for the game.

Denver also won the free throw battle, hitting 27 of 37, while the Bucks got to the line just 11 times and made only 5 of them.

The Bucks close out their short 2-game road trip when they take on the Utah Jazz tonight.
