Pointers lock up share of WIAC

In Division 3 men’s college hoops, 15th ranked Stevens Point squeaked by Stout 76-74 on Wednesday night to clinch at least a share of the WIAC regular season title and the top seed in the upcoming conference tournament.  The Pointers improved to 19-4 overall, 12-2 in the WIAC.

Elsewhere in the WIAC on Wednesday night,

Whitewater 75, Oshkosh 58
La Crosse 85, River Falls 64
Platteville 76, Eau Claire 65
