Rove to speak at Ripon College

February 6, 2013 By WRN Contributor

The Senior Advisor and Deputy Chief of Staff to President George W. Bush is scheduled to speak Wednesday afternoon at Ripon College. Ripon College Republicans and Pre-Law Society, with support from the Young Americans Foundation, are sponsoring Karl Rove’s appearance.

Rove will speak at 4:15 p.m. in Harwood Memorial Union’s Great Hall. A meet and greet will follow shortly afterwards from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the Martin Luther King Lounge.

Rove will offer his analysis on the 2012 presidential election, and speak on the importance of campus activism with a particular emphasis on ways young Americans can and should become engaged in current events and active in the political process. The event is open to the Ripon College community and the general public.
